It was a great night for some rock-n-roll blues, Friday, December 6th, with Anthony Gomes at Knuckleheads KC.
The house was rocking, and the blues were knocking. I’m just going to call this one out early. Tonight was by far the most energetic crowd and night with Anthony Gomes out of all the times I have attended one of his shows. This man will reach down and grab your soul and get you dancing and singing along.
Anthony played crowd favorites “White Trash Princess,” “The Whiskey Made Me Do It,” and “Painted Horse” and treated the crowd to some Gomes-style Rainbow and Led Zepplin covers! LAWDY LAWD! I’m here to “Testify” that the Gomes revival was alive tonight.
