Juice WRLD, The Party Never Ends ⭐️❌❌❌❌
This is supposed to be Juice WRLD’s last album, and probably for good cause. There are good posthumous releases, and then there is this. From the bizarre cover art, to the very throwaway nature of the tracks featured here, it’s just not good. His estate has apparently claimed that there are 3,000 quality songs in the vault, which I highly doubt for a multitude of reasons, but first and foremost because it sounds like they’re already scraping the bottom of the barrel. Don’t really have anything more to say.
I decided to dig a little deeper, and see what fans of his were saying. When it comes to posthumous releases, and trying to gauge how respectful it is, the fans are usually pretty solid judges. Unfortunately they seem to have the same sour taste in their mouth. There is a consensus that the tracks here are not a good representation of the late artist’s talent, and apparently there are songs that have leaked that are of much higher quality that don’t appear on this album.
But, wait, shouldn’t they pull out all the stops? Isn’t this the last go-round? Oh yeah, definitely. Except, probably not. His estate are already talking about the possibility of more music being released. So much for a grand finale.
Favorite song: I don’t know. They all pretty much sound the same. I’ll just go “Party By Myself” because I found it to be the most unique one here.
