Sundays are honestly a hard day to get people to come out to shows. Granted, when bands are touring and come to town, they can’t always be the most opportune time for audiences in the area music scene. With that said, the turnout felt okay for Denver’s Legs. The Band. as they came back to Hays for a raucous show at the Rose Garden.
Starslinger were originally expected to join the show, but due to illness, they had to back out. We still got a rap showcase by Adrian Parl, and Broken Treaty opening up for the headliners in Legs. The Band.
The artist known as Parl hit the stage in their first show since October, showing off some new music, bouncing with the crowd on their recent hits, and getting the ball rolling for the rest of the evening.
Local trio Broken Treaty are getting back into playing shows again and are coming together nicely as they build their sound and audience.
It has been a good 2 years since I’ve seen them play, and they still fail to disappoint. Literally all over the stage and into the crowd, Legs. The Band continues to give 110% into the show.
