David Byrne, Who Is The Sky? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

David Byrne, the ever eccentric frontman of Talking Heads, is back with a new solo album. This is one of those examples where you can’t judge an album by its cover, because this album cover straight up gives a panic attack. Too much going on. Sensory overload. But this album is the most feel good of the year.

But seriously, this album just radiates good vibes, which is something that I’m not sure we get enough of these days. You cannot help but smile when you listen to this album. Every song on here is so strange, weird, and beautiful in the best way. Lyrically and musically.

Everything on here is a celebration of the absurdity and beauty of life, and not in a superficial or over the top way, either. It’s just David Byrne being his authentic, eccentric self. And musically there are so many flavors, and all used to max effectiveness. It’s so good all the way through.

Favorite song: “The Avant Garde”
