Robert Plant with Suzi Dian, Saving Grace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The legendary Robert Plant is back with a new album. This album is pretty much what you would expect Robert Plant to be doing in 2025. Just a wise, elder statesman of music bringing traditional folk and blues songs back to life. You could take it back to the 70s and play this album for people and they’d be like, “Yeah, that makes sense.”
The music on this album just has that good old fashioned Americana feel. And I mean, obviously, because it is good old fashioned Americana. But the playing is spectacular. Really moody and expressive. It’s really great.
Robert Plant doesn’t have the booming vocals that he once did, but what he has left fits in perfectly here. He takes a more laid back approach, while Suzi Dian does more of the heavy lifting when the songs call for it. But that’s not to say that Plant always takes the backseat. There are songs like “As I Roved Out” and “Everybody’s Song” where he shows flashes of his younger voice. And their voices together are just fantastic.
