Neil Young – Chrome Dreams *MUST HEAR*
Neil Young has graced us with a third “lost album” from the 1970s, following the releases of Hitchhiker and Homegrown. And of course it’s great. It’s 1970s Neil Young. What more do you want?
However, I will say that this is probably the least essential out of the three “lost albums” because these songs have been released in some form or another over the years, and in a lot of cases the same recording was released. But still, it’s fascinating hearing these songs in the context they were intended to be heard. Plus, it’s a great album. Even if you’ve heard the songs this warrants a revisit.
