The Guess Who, Plein D’Amour

This wasn’t my first pick.

I was gonna listen to Lucinda Williams’ new album, but for some reason it’s not on Apple Music. Maybe it got delay? I don’t know.

But then I saw this album, and thought, “That has to be a reissue.” Turned out it wasn’t, and the question “What does The Guess Who sound like in 2023” filled my head.

Imagine if Styx and Supertramp had a son, and he never moved out of their basement. Horrible 1970s/1980s synth Rock pastiche.

We love music. Whether it's huge, big name musicians, or bands playing their first show, we love it. And being able to capture moments for those bands and artists are what brought us together in the first place. We want to highlight the area we come from, the local artists that helped solidify our love of music, and provide them a platform to be seen. If we can have some small part in helping bring them a larger audience, then it's a great day for all of us. We aim to document and shine a light on why music, live and recorded, will never die.
