Last weekly mini review of 2023, and we’re closing on a surprisingly solid note. I was struggling to find anything new, so I definitely wasn’t expecting to stumble upon a gem like this.
Apparently this is a collaboration album that was scrapped by the three artists in 2016, but some of the songs showed up on other projects over the years. It’s a real Neil Young situation. But I’m glad it finally came out, because it’s really, really good. If you’re a fan of hip hop with an old school feel, you’ll love this. The production is great. Definitely an album I’ll revisit.
