Death Cab for Cutie, I Built You a Tower ⭐️⭐️⭐️❌❌
Death Cab for Cutie is back with a new album. Or… Maybe it’s just an elaborate way for them to tell somebody they built a tower for them? Also, why build it? Couldn’t you just buy one? There has to be plenty of premade towers.
But anyways… This album is an example of just a pretty solid album. Not really that many highs, not really any lows. It’s really just kind of right down the middle.
The production is very odd. The vocals don’t really sit in the mix very well and can be grating in places. But to be honest, in a weird way it kind of gives it charm. I don’t know how they manage that.
