Yes, you read that right. Smash Mouth has a new album in 2026. And yeah, it sounds exactly how you imagine.
They replaced their singer that died with a voice actor who does an impression of him. It’s very uncanny. I almost thought they had used archival recordings of him. Or AI, maybe. But no. I guess that’s just their new guy.
The production is absolutely horrible. Extremely amateurish. The songs are bad. Just overall an unpleasant experience. Not much more to say.
