Childish Gambino, Atavista ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❌
Donald Glover is back with a new-ish Childish Gambino album. What I mean by that is this is a finished version of a project he dropped in demo from back in 2020 called 3.15.20. Why it took so long to get a finished version, I don’t know. But it was worth the wait.
There are tracks that have been cut from the album, so there might be some grievances there from fans. But he’s also added a couple songs that weren’t on the original. But beyond comparing this version to that version, this is an album that just radiates good vibes, and is a blast to listen to. This brand of good time pop rap is a much needed respite from monotony I’ve been getting on these weekly reviews recently.
