You know those people that haven’t changed since high school? Yeah, Twenty One Pilots are the musical equivalent to that. Not that it’s necessarily bad music, but I thought they sounded juvenile back when I first heard them almost a decade ago, and they still sound the same.
The first song on this album tricks you. You think, “Oh, they might be cookin’ here.” But then it devolves into the same old same old.
