Metallica, 72 Seasons
While you will find yourself head banging along to the music more than a few times, this album is very one dimensional. Every song tries to open the pit. In the media build up to the album release, I kept seeing it said that “Every Metallica is present on this album.” That is not only simply not true, but also does a disservice to the variety and diversity of their catalog. There’s only one Metallica present on this album, unfortunately.
