Madonna, the Queen of Pop, is back with a new album. This is a sequel to her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. They say the sequel is never as good as the original. But is that the case here?
Absolutely not! This album is excellent. It’s one of those albums that just instantly transports you to a different place. You could be in a dental clinic waiting room, and put this album on and see it transform into a dance club.
The production and songwriting here is immaculate. She masterfully mixes nostalgia and current trends, proves she still knows how to get people moving. This is the definition of timeless. Wouldn’t sound out of place in the 80s, but still sounds prescient to the current moment.
