Muse, The Wow! Signal ⭐️⭐️❌❌❌

Muse is back with a new album. They called this The Wow! Signal, which is a reference to that time when we supposedly received a radio signal from deep space, and the scientist that observed it printed it out, circled it, and wrote “Wow!” Pretty interesting, actually. And incidentally, “Pretty interesting” is a nice way of describing this album.

I hope you aren’t prone to sensory overload, because this is basically the audio equivalent of the Michael Bay Transformers movies. There’s just so much going on at all times. And it’s a shame, because these are actually pretty good songs. But they over complicate them, and put the most gaudy production over it.

Favorite song: “Nightshift Superstar”
