Kacey Musgraves, Middle of Nowhere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❌
Kacey Musgraves is back with a new album. Full disclosure, I’ve never really been too crazy about her, but this album may have changed that.
The songs on here are pure country. There’s not much pop inflection here. There is some Mexican music flair present on a few songs, though, which is proof of her going back to her Texas roots. But the songwriting here is so pure. Really nice throwback country.
The production is also great. It sounds so alive. It’s very warm and vibrant. It almost sounds like it was recorded in a concert hall. It has those sort of natural echo acoustics to it.
