Third Man Records artist Olivia Jean is back with more of her dark, Halloween surf music. That’s the best way to describe her music. I enjoyed this album, as I’ve enjoyed her previous albums. But there are a few head scratching moments. Like the second song, “Too Late.” It’s such a weird song for her, has annoying instrumentation choices, and doesn’t fit the rest of the album at all. The good does outweigh the bad by a lot, though.
