Dec. 25th, M.I.A. Bells Collection
On Christmas, M.I.A. released this mixtape for free on her website for a limited time. I listened to it, because it’s new M.I.A., duh. It’s very interesting. Definitely a mixtape rather than an album. Very experimental and raw. But she also calls this mixtape a “Collaboration with God,” so this might very well be God’s first mixtape. If that’s the case, this is monumental.
No, but in all seriousness, M.I.A.’s born-again Christianity is all over this mixtape. It doesn’t bug me, but I know some people will object to that. I’m just glad her anti-vax views aren’t on here.
Even though Bells Collection was only up for a limited time, you can still find it because, well, the internet.
