Whenever I go into an EDM album I get a little nervous because honestly I’m not a very good dancer, and more importantly, they usually tend to get tedious because they’re usually kind of designed to be listened to in little bits and pieces at a club. But, this album does not suffer from this.
This album takes no time in establishing itself, and it never really lets up. It’s solid all the way through. And even when you do encounter some of that EDM tedium, she changes it up or introduces something new that will keep your interest. Also, this album has some pretty good, introspective lyricism, which you don’t always get in this genre.
