Nov. 24th, Busta Rhymes Blockbusta
It’s a funny coincidence that this album comes only days after André 3000 said the reason he made a flute album rather than a Rap album is because him being 48 years old makes it feel “inauthentic.” I would never call Busta Rhymes inauthentic. But tired? Maybe.
Busta Rhymes seems to have the same problem as Eminem, where it seems like he doesn’t really have anything new to say, so he just kinda writes the same song over and over again. And even when he adopts a modern feel and flow, it’s just kind of awkward to hear a 51 year old rap about sex so much.
